Wondering what to bring to our first Cartmel Peninsula Repair Cafe ...

Unlinked jewels, loosened stone
Hookless earrings, chains undone

Holey jumpers, fraying ends
Knotted knitting, crochet trends

Unzippy zips, straggly buttons
Loosened hems and holey mittens

Mechanical mixups, wiring undone
Electrical snags, fuses gone

Unsafe chairs, wonky handles
Wooden things, but please, no mangles!

With these small things we hope you'll come
To our first repair cafe and share in the fun

REPAIR CAFE (it's a cafe and portable item repair sharing space - all welcome) 
Friday, 7th October, 5-7pm at Grange Methodist Church, LA11 7EY

All items must be clean and hygenic on arrival and must taken away by the owner on leaving. If it is not possible to repair an item this will be explained. We will also have a list of local repair businesses you can contact to continue to keep things working longer.

Cash donations will be welcomed to support the project development. If you'd like to get involved in future events please leave your contact details with us.
